Study, Supply, Medical Laboratory Equipment and Medical
Systems Operation & Maintenance:
ASAS Universal started with a study covering the major
companies working this field. Anticipating government plans
for development; studies were undertaken concerning the
medical care and services provided by Ministry of Health,
Civil and Military government agencies through hospitals and
medical cities. Meanwhile, ASAS Universal has been seeking
further technical assistance and know-how in this area, it
has cooperated with many prominent companies in this field
to increase its knowledge and skill of executing the first
project in this field and supports technical studies with
the required experience. To achieve this goal ASAS Universal
offered a complete technical package to furnish medical
laboratories equipment at King Fahd Medical City and
securing supply, installation, operation & maintenance of
these equipments for one year. Accordingly, the company was
awarded this project for SR 43,500,000.00. The project has
been fully completed except the final operating tests which
have been delayed by the beneficiary party. From the actual
experience gained in the implementation of this project and
due to the market nature of this project, the company has
limited its activity in this field.
This field is considered a secondary area of activities,
therefore the participation of the company in this field
depends upon the opportunity according to the companies’
viewpoints.
